In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five travel and local apps in Central America exhibited diverse performance trends. Below is an overview of their weekly downloads and active users.

Airbnb saw a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads ranging from around 69K to 104K, peaking in the last week of December. Active users also showed an upward trend, rising from approximately 620K in late September to nearly 783K by the end of December.

Viva Aerobus experienced steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 33K and 54K. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at around 133K in late September and reaching a high of 159K in mid-November, before stabilizing around 129K towards the end of the quarter.

Volaris had consistent weekly downloads, ranging from approximately 32K to 50K. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at about 97K and ending the quarter at around 92K.

IHG Hotels & Rewards displayed a notable spike in downloads in late October, peaking at 71.6K. Active users saw a corresponding increase, reaching approximately 121K at the end of October. The app maintained over 89K active users towards the end of the quarter.

Expedia: Hotels, Flights & Car had fluctuating weekly downloads, with a peak of about 48K in the last week of December. Active users also varied, starting at around 236K and rising to approximately 254K by the end of the quarter.
